Live the Long Beach Island lifestyle! Long Beach Island, New Jersey or LBI NJ is a resort island off New Jersey with white sand beaches and a fun family feel. There are lots of things to do on Long Beach Island, so get out and explore the area!
Living at the beach is a dream for many...and you can experience this dream too! Whether you are looking to visit LBI for a summer weekend, rent a beach house for a vacation or move "down the shore" year round, there are some things you should know about the beach lifestyle!
Try Settler's Mill in Beach Haven or The Sand Trap in Ship Bottom! Both offer a fun course with lots of twists and turns!
Hand's Down Neptune's Market in Harvey Cedars
Stop by the Inlet Deli in Barnegat Light and order a deli sandwich (all made to order in front of you) and enjoy lunch on a picnic table in the shadow of the Barnegat Lighthouse. It is a great day out!
Visit Holgate and watch the sunset over the salt marsh. You can see both the ocean and the bay, making for a fantastic show.
This used to be Holyoak Ave in Beach Haven; however, since the beach replenishment, this is relatively unknown...Conditions will vary around LBI, but many of the old breaks have come back to prominence.
This depends on what you are looking for! The best "party bar" would be The Sea Shell or Nardis. Bird and Bettys also deserves a spot on this list with a large outdoor deck overlooking the bay. If you are looking for some local color, try the Hudson House on 13th Street in North Beach Haven (if you can find it, that is!).
There is still plenty to do on Long Beach Island when it rains! You can visit Schooner's Wharf/Bay Village, any of the museums in the area, or see a show at The Surflight, to name a few.
