Brant Beach NJ is part of Long Beach Township and is located roughly at the center of Long Beach Island New Jersey. As it is part of Long Beach Township, a Long Beach Township beach badge will grant you use of the beaches. Brant Beach, NJ is a narrow section of Long Beach Island, so the area is less dense than other parts of Long Beach Island. A federally funded beach replenishment project replenished and maintained the beaches of Brant Beach, so they are some of the widest on Long Beach Island! Brant Beach is located between Ship Bottom to the north and Beach Haven Crest to the south.

The Brant Beach, NJ, real estate market offers buyers some great opportunities for a beach house that is a short distance to the beach at an affordable price. Due to Brant Beach being narrower than other parts of Long Beach Island, many bayside homes are closer to the beach than oceanside homes in other parts of LBI! In some cases, there are only about 10-15 houses from the bayfront to the oceanfront! This allows buyers to purchase a home in close proximity to the beach at a more affordable price point. The Brant Beach NJ real estate market is dominated by single-family homes with a few duplexes and condominiums throughout the area. Most of the lot sizes are large enough to support new construction, and the square shape of lots in this area (for example, a 60x75 compared to a 40x100) can give more flexibility when designing a new home. A few points to keep in mind when looking at Brant Beach NJ real estate are:

Thanks in large part to the recent beach replenishment that took place in Spring 2012, Brant Beach fared well during Hurricane Sandy. However, many homes still sustained damage, especially on the bayside. Brant Beach would have suffered far worse had it not been for the proactive efforts to protect Long Beach Island. Now that the rest of Long Beach Island has been through at least one beach replenishment cycle, and many of the more at-risk homes have taken protective measures, Brant Beach and LBI, in general, are much better prepared for future storms.
